As also the said John [G]EBBIE who died the same day of the same month 1789 aged about 55 years together with their son Hugh [dieing] in the [2-] year of his age 1756 Also Alexander GIBB their son - - - - field who died [forth] July 1826 aged 67 years [Ed: Linich in l966 gives the first name on the stone as Agnes McFREDERICK aged 44]


Yellow sandstone.
110 x 77 x 11
Poor. Top surface of stone lost on east face and laminar flaking along bedding planes on west face.
Free standing, rectangular top with side cusps. Inscription on east face within oval border and blank panel on west face with scrolled decoration above and fluted pilasters.
