Inscription
- - - e - - - -ath - - - - s - - - - dr - - - - - ric - - - e - - - - aged 7 - yrs and died the -th July 1786 Also the Body of his son Alexander ROSS late innkeeper in Portpatrick who died the 29th day of August 1798 Aged 77 years.

- Poor. Heavy flaking on both faces and much of original surface lost. Stone leaning to the west.

- Free standing with double curved top. Inscription on east face in rectangular panel with moulded borders.
