Erected by John KENNEDY shipmaster in memory of his father James KENNEDY who departed this life the 21 - day of May 1856 aged [65] years. He was Captain of the Westmorland for 50 years. Also his daughter - - - - - - - - -

- Poor. The east face is worn with flaking along the top and some cracking on the south edge. The west face is stable and in a fair condition.

- Free standing. Broken pediment top with side swags above central raised cartouche. Inscription on east face.
