Erected by the Family In memory of their father John HUNTER, late tenant in Upper Dinvin who died the 9th June 1854 aged 76 years. Also his daughter Susan HUNTER who died the 26th November 1852 aged 37 years. Also his grandson John KERR who died 30th July 1849 aged 16 months. Also Helen McCRAITH spouse of the above John HUNTER who died 31st August 1859 aged 81 years. Also Helen KERR, granddaughter to the above who died 17th April 1870 aged 24 years and his grandson John KERR who died 1st May 1875 aged 23 years. Also his daughter Agnes HUNTER who died 2nd January 1883 aged 72 years. Also Thomas KERR, late farmer Upper Dinvin who died 2nd November 1883 aged 70 years. Also Mary HUNTER who died 27th Augt 1895 aged 76 years. Also Helen HUNTER, wife of the above Thomas KERR who died 26th March 1897 aged 81 years. [on reverse] This burying ground contains 3 graves in front of this stone.

Good, but inscription on east face is worn.
Description:
Free standing with round top and shoulders above central oval cartouche with flanking rosettes. Main inscription on east face within raised rectangular panel with sun beam motifs in corners. Set in a red sandstone plinth.
