Condition:
Poor. Worn with major surface loss and illegible inscription. Top absent.
Description:
Large mural monument built into boundary wall. Composite construction with central panel and fluted pilasters on plinth stone. Gabled top missing.

About the project

The purpose of this project is to gather and record information about the Old Portpatrick Church and Churchyard. This first phase focuses on the gravestones and their associated stories, where available, plus an outline history of the church.

There is still a lot of information to unearth about the church and churchyard, and we would like to encourage anyone who has spotted any errors or who has additional information about either, to email the information to portpatrick2015@gmail.com. Also, families may wish to add information on their ancestors. The information will be included on the website over time.
