In memory of Thomas HOLMES of this place who died 3rd Decr. 1868 aged 75 years Also Margaret WALLACE his wife who died 18th Decr. 1859 aged 67 years Erected as a tribute of filial affection by their sons Robert and Thomas HOLMES

- Free standing headstone with expanded round top and shoulders above central plain cartouche with flanking rosettes. Inscription on east within a raised panel beneath an acanthus strip.
