[carving of desk and quill pens] Erected by Commander John LITTLE R.N., agent for Steam Packets, Portpatrick in memory of Andrew ADAIR, late his confidential clerk, who died the 19th November MDCCCXXXI aged 32 years

- Free standing with round top and shoulders over relief carving of sarcophagus with crossed plume pens on its side and flanked by rosettes. Inscription on east face with sun beam motifs in corners.
