Inscription


In memory of Margaret widow of the late James MILVAIN, third and youngest daughter of John FORSYTHE Esq. of Glasnick in the Parish of Penninghame and the last survivor of that very ancient family. She died suddenly on the 30th October 1846 aged 78 years. Surely I come quickly - and I heard a voice from Heaven saying unto me write Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord The above James MILVAIN departed this life on the 7th August 1807 and his remains are interred in Glenluce Churchyard.

Description:
Free standing, broken pediment top with corner swags above central cartouche. Moulded pilasters. Inscription on east face within raised panel with corner rosettes.
